Part of the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Paria Canyon Wilderness offers an unforgettable trek through some of Utah's most scenic areas. Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome to join you on your adventure through the cliffs. However, it's imortant to note that some areas of the Vermilion Cliffs require a permit to hike -- for you and your dog. Permits must be obtained in advance, and are open four months prior to hiking dates. You can apply for your permits online.
