The staff was absolutely lovely and the breakfast was good and the location could not be better. The room itself could have been cleaner and did not have a microwave and was not clean enough. Run down.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. Only 1 block west of Central Park. The staff was amenable and brought us a mini fridge to use at no added cost.

The rooms in this hotel are tiny. There is barely any room to turn around, and the bathroom was the size of a small closet. The room is fine for sleeping, but not much else.

Staff was great. Breakfast was filling and tasty. Location was nice and close to Central Park.

Radiators in rooms did not work during 20 degree weather. The heater was an window air conditioner that barely heated the room to 60 degrees. Had to use 3 blankets to just sleep. Also location of unit blew air on our bed all night. Very uncomfortable.

Negatives: Various safety issues- we got stuck in the elevator which jolted. The Fire Dept. had to be called to rescue us. Once the Fire Dept rescue team arrived at the elevator it took 20 minutes to free us being stuck for 1 hr. + No bath rm safety bars

The room we had was small. No chair or desk as advertised "Each of our non-smoking guest rooms features a work desk". I mean why have a desk (it did not) and not have a chair too... Not the cleanest hotel. Certainly overpriced but it was NYC marathon.
