Updated rooms, lots of hot water,
Clean room, and lots of light.
Quiet and reasonable size room, comfortable bed.
Negatives:
Entrance Room door had been picked in at some point,( not while I was there) and the repair was at best a poor repair,
the fridge had no area with a freezer in it so our ice thawed that we used in our small cooler, there are no Microwaves in these rooms, I had asked for 1 but of course they said you needed to pre book and never seen 1show up in my room, 2nd night I was required to go to the main check in area, requiring you to go out side and then back into the front office to use the Microwave.(our say was blowing snow and windy)
There is limited chain restaurants within walking distance, Humphries, Tim Hortons ,Subway, KFC.
I had stayed here a few years ago and did not realize that I had booked here again.I travel a LOT.
The stay was fine but did not feel real comfortable in that area of town, maybe it was just me but just did not feel comfortable walking around the area?
