Everything was very nice. Good location, nice staff, good food in restaurant, close to many other restaurants and Granville island etc. But we are not city people and we were kept awake by sirens and a crazy guy yelling under our window all night despite being on a high floor.

Area has quite a few homeless drug users around, but hey, that's not the hotels fault and it is downtown VC after all, in the thick of it

Terrible location. Lots of homeless people in the street. Hotel is right opposite to an adult store and vape shop. Facilities in the hotel are lacking - showing age. The exhaust in the bathroom is ineffective.

we booked a room with a balcony, but the one given did not had a balcony. their reasoning was that we requested a top floor room, but all of the rooms in the top floors, only 2 did not have a balcony and we were given one of them.
Also the room had an awkwardly positioned column in the middle of the room.
Also in the corridor there is an ice machine which during the night is a bit noisy.
