The man working the front desk was curt when I phoned to advise I would be arriving later than planned, close to midnight. He was unfriendly and confrontational that I tapped on the window (I could see him sitting there) when he didn’t answer the phone to unlock to lobby door. No greeting just jumped into saying he didn’t appreciate the tap on the window. Continued to complain during the entire checkin process. Definitely needs some public relations training. The day staff were amazing which turned my impression of this experience around.

the room was very nice and the staff helpful the breakfast was great with a selection great diet choices as well the staff was fine with me making up a plate for my partner when he wasn't feeling well.

Perfect lunch in the morning
Positives:
Our room was recently renovated, therefore clean , comfortable and modern. Breakfast was also very good. There were very few people staying at the hotel on Easter Monday. Tim Hortons was just steps away along with other restaurants.

The building itself showed signs of aging.
