The price is low if you’re just staying overnight and then continuing your journey elsewhere. I stopped overnight in Montreal on my way to Quebec City, and I found the prices at this hotel reasonable.
Negatives:
I noticed that a few other reviewers commented on the cleanliness of the rooms. There were blood stains in the bathroom when I checked in (see attached photo). I don’t know how this wasn’t spotted by the cleaning staff after the prior occupant vacated the room.

It is located on the main road. 8 minutes from the Saint Laurent metro. Walking distance from old town.
All men at the reception are friendly and helpful.
Our room had nice city views.
Negatives:
The sofa bed needs a change over. The mattress was old and had holes. Not too comfortable as well.
More concentration on cleaning would be appreciated.

Apart from being clean and spacious, It was close and accessible to a lot of restaurants, bars, mall and must-visit landmarks. After a day of activities and walking, it was always a treat coming back to a relaxing room.

Positives:
The room is spacious, clean newly painted and good thing is we are upgraded to a suite when we arrived. I like their bed it is so soft comfy and their pillows are so soft, overall my rating is 10.
Negatives:
The carpet is so dark and look dirty though it is new i guess, the light in the living room is only a lamp shade which is not enough in the room it is dark, it should be good if they will add more light in that room. The AC control is only that in the living room not in the bedroom. The hair dryer has no hot mode only cold.

We have a good stay...
Positives:
As everyone mentions, its location was perfect. Though it needs 8 min. walk to either Green or Orange line, it was easy to go anywhere. There are a supermarket and various shops and restaurants nearby. A 747 airport bus stop is in 1 min. away, which I think is a great feature.
Negatives:
The disposer in the sink was not fully cleaned and water didn't drain well. So there was odor. We found disposer switch and ran water several times. The odor got better but it didn't help drainage much. Our stay was far better if there was no disposer odor. I hope the Hotel will fix it for the next guest. But a maintenance person came to our room right away to help us turn on the TV. We were told the TV switch is connected to a lighting switch. So I advise you to turn on all lighting switches if you can't turn on the TV.

Positives:
The staff were all extremely professional and kind. The bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly quiet at night, despite facing a busy street. The location was great, it was only a short walk to Old Montreal. The staff were able to accommodate a late check out for a reasonable price, and also they allowed for a secure luggage storage after check out, which was really appreciated. I liked the extra security at the entrance of the hotel (requiring guests to swipe their key card for entry or else be buzzed in).
Negatives:
The air conditioner in the room didn't seem to be working and there was no way to control the temperature aside from keeping the windows and sliding patio door open.
