Location was convenient for the reason we were there. Staff was friendly, polite, and helpful.
Negatives:
We were there 2 nights. We had breakfast in the 8-9 am time frame both days while the dining area was full and busy. The "hot" breakfast was cold both days. The first day, we had a power outage due to a storm. Power came back on sometime between 7-7:30 am. We thought that might have something to do with breakfast being cold the first day. Apparently, not since it was cold the next day, too.
The hallway on our floor smelled like a wet dog. Not sure what was causing the odor.
We have stayed in a lot of Hampton hotels. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable at this one. Not what we expected based on the others we stayed at.

Positives:
We could see an alligator in the water when we went to our car in the parking lot. How cool is that? Sadly, we were there to be close to a hospital, but the hotel is near several towns with interesting things to do. This is a dog friendly hotel, and we loved meeting the dogs and their people. The staff was so helpful and kind, even giving us a little care package and card when they learned that we had a death in our family.

Not a problem for us, but non-animal people might notice a smell.
