Pool was cold. Across the street from the beach, which required a little travel for beach access. Room was located off the hallway from indoor pool and employee offices/maintenance. So could be noisy in main living room from that location.

Hotel, rooms, pool area were all beautifully decorated with nautical themed, bright colors and lots of greenery that have a tropical feel. Beds were very comfortable . Staff was very friendly and greeted/ welcomed us every time we left the hotel.
Negatives:
The shower is large and very nice, however the shower pressure is terrible. The bathroom vanity was great! Large with lots of lighting . Could have been a little cleaner. Sand all over the floors and chairs in our rooms so made me think the floors weren’t cleaned well, however the bathroom and the bedding seemed very clean. Might have just been an oversight with the sandy floors this one time. Carpet in halls and in front of elevators starting to show some stains. There are lots of cute pillows everywhere but some of those were stained as well. I’m sure it’s hard to avoid in hotels at the beach. They were always cleaning the lobby area, elevators and it smelled clean and fresh every time we walked in. The first thing my daughter said was it smells so good in here. Overall this is a great hotel and we would return. Again, front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating.
