Disappointing
Positives:
I booked 2 rooms and they only showed 1 room but they were able to get another one which we had to wait for to get the room cleaned. The reservation was made through booking. Com. It just was just a disappointment since we travel from Kentucky to Alabama with a toddler and infant . A emotional trip to see my grandson deploy to Poland

It is a very convenient location. Comfy bed.

Not a lot of parking. Room was hot and the thermostat on the wall was not working properly. Luckily, we were on the 3rd floor so we opened the window (yes, the 3rd floor windows open all the way) so that we could sleep comfortably. Tried to take a shower on 2 separate occasions and no hot water, not even warm. Lastly, could not even get a cup of coffee in the lobby without paying $11.50 for the breakfast, which we were not eating.

I appreciated that dinner was available in the hotel. Everyone seemed to be glad that I had arrived and the chef/staff were very happy to give me dinner to take to my room. I was made welcome!

The rooms are outdated. We stayed here about 15 years ago and it has the same furniture. We were there from Friday to Monday and we got no room service or cleaning. Someone was smoking in one of the rooms and got into the hall way and into our room. Not a good smell.

I was billed TWICE. I booked it thru booking.com and the receptionist asked for credit card anyway. My bill showed 2 charges for the same amount. I'm disputing the charge and had to get a new credit card. This is the first time room thru booking.com was charged to me twice. I hope it will be refunded.

Pool was closed with no notice on the website nor at reservation time. Doors were out of service. Ice machines not working. The tile floors felt slimy. With reservation for 2 adults and 1 child for 2 nights there were only 2 towels in the room. Definitely what you would expect from a Hilton.
