La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Phoenix Mesa West

Negatives: I didn't know there was no lock for the bathroom, that was kind of weird since we were three guys and wanted some privacy. Also it was a bummer that the pool was out of service.

Negatives: Upon arrival the first thing the woman at the front desk says is I can’t leave my dog alone in the room that’s the first time a hotel has told me to do so. The hallways appear very dirty with stains and trash always on the north east side of the elevator during my stay. The elevators were so slow or would open and take you nowhere. The elevators dirty with sticky floors at some point I just had to carry my dog bc no one cared to clean it up. The sink kept making a clogging noise the first night. There wear stains on the blankets and almost all the towels. The cleaning crew played their music so loud and spent almost most of the time on the 2nd floor it seemed like everyone was staying on the second floor and they placed all the people with dogs in that floor. When they’d come by to ask for housekeeping the guy wouldn’t leave until I took out the trash can for him at the door because he didn’t want to come in since my dog was barking a little at him. What hotel makes their guests take out the trash themselves!? The walls are paper thin and could hear everything. After the first night I asked the front desk if there was a quieter room or floor. Without even looking at the computer or apologizing she just said they were booked for the weekend even tho at that point it was Monday after the long weekend. I couldn’t go out to the pool bc again dogs aren’t allowed in that area. How could I enjoy the pool without my pet if I couldn’t leave her in the room alone? I’ve never been to the hotel where a dog isn’t allowed BY the pool even without a leash. On Monday5/27 after I took my dog out I walked into the lobby to SEE what they had for breakfast and the second I step foot into the lobby the Janitor woman instead of saying “good morning coffee on your left eggs or whatever to the right” the first thing she says is can you tie up your dog to a chair over there?

Negatives: Breakfast was just ok

Negatives: N/a

Negatives: The breakfast was okay but they could have had more options. When I arrived my room was not clean properly I did not have toilet tissue in the bathroom I had to ask for some washcloths the overall cleanliness of the hotel wasn't that good the hallways leading up to the room needed to be vacuumed. When housekeeping did come and clean my room they kept the same sheets and blankets on the bed, they never changed them. It was also little pieces of trash on the floor they didn't vacuum the room.

Negatives: One elevator.

Negatives: Woke up to over15 bed bug bites and two live bed bugs in my bed. Manager only attempted to call me back once and left voice mail. When I tried to call her back I did not get any response. They said they gave me a one night credit to stay there again. I will never stay there again. Would like a full refund. No one will call me back.

Negatives: Monday and Tuesday no bananas or muffins and very little hot food Back door showed signs of being broken into. Inside could use cleaning and paint.

Negatives: Key pad on door didn’t work all the time Tub and sink drained very slow filling up with water every time we used them. Elevator running very slow worried if it would break down each time we used it

Negatives: Counter in restroom had a little bug problem Had a horrible time trying to open to room door each time I left the room Elevator took forever each time and was dirty District manager was there and he even assisted us..
