Great staff, 8 minute to beach. Seven min walk to bus route 101 to get to Oceanside transit center and catch Surfliner. Going south on the 101 will get you to La Jolla. Nice area. No homeless. Safe to come back at night.
A residential area. Half of what I usually pay in Oceanside.

Location, price. Room was reasonably clean upon arrival and beds were ok.
Negatives:
No kleenex, only one washcloth. Small, rough towels. Lighting minimal. Bathtub was edged with moldy looking black stuff. No cleaning or refreshing of room done. No hair dryer or iron. TV remote was missing back, so batteries would fall out. Difficult to ID channels on TV as they only were designated by unrecognizable numbers.
Have stayed in other Motel 6 locations that were not as bare-bones.

I dislike how dirty the rooms were the beds we're not Queen look more like full beds it was leaking from the roof with a lot of mold. I've stayed at other motel 6's, but this one was by far the worst.

The hotel checking in at the property was not good customer service,I paid for my rooms in advance but could not stay there because one person in my family didn't have there ID but had a copy of it on the phone ,but would not accept it and they said they could not stay on the property.i'm trying to get a refund but not having any luck .

Never cleaned the room. When asked for clean towels. It was a fight. There first excuse was you had to ask to have your room cleaned. We did that and they didn’t clean the room. Then they said they clean the room every third day. That didn’t happened. Then they said they were short staff.
