A comfortable yet stylish place...
Positives:
The property was well laid out with parking right by the rooms etc. The balcony we had overlooked the pool which was lovely.

It was a drive away from the main part of Carmel where shops etc are.

We experienced a power outage while there, but the location next to a gas station was disappointing for us.
Given the rate we paid, my expectations were not met. We could have paid a lower rate and been located in downtown Carmel.

Location was terrible. Right by a gas station. Room decor was cheap and the bed blankets were cheap and not comfortable or warm. Overall felt like a scam advertisement of how the rooms and place were seen online. Very disappointing

The man at front desk bordered at rude—-not welcoming at all.
Bathroom had little space for putting bath items—tooth paste,etc.
False advertising— balcony faced top of buildings. On my complaint was told could change to view of parking lot. Answer from man who was not pleasant at check in.

Great place! Really enjoyed it.

Stayed here when they moved the course for the Big Sur Marathon. Couldn't beat the location! Right across the street from the start & finish lines!!!

Our room was right next to the parking and the walls were thin. We heard people walking, voices, doors closing, car alarms, cars locking... *Everything*... Which made it rough for an early marathon start time. If you need solid sleep, bring earplugs!

The room was bright and clean, the linen's fresh. Large windows with functional blinds.
Negatives:
The shower head was leaking from the connections.

Great stay for 4 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. It was spacious and the large window allowed a lot of light in during the day (although we werren't there much). It is conveniently located next to some good restaurants.
Negatives:
Coffe pot needed a severe cleaning. It was too nasty to use.
