No. Just no. Picked this hotel based on the reviews and no. Old building. Loud. Small and gross. I didn't even stay the night.
Negatives:
Bed was so hard it felt like a bare box springs. They list on the site as having breakfast. Well 'breakfast' was coffee tea and fruit. Some locals pulled up in their car and went swimming in the pool. I thought the price wAs nice but it was not.

Not much. The location was very convenient.

Other than the staff, who were excellent. The facility was very old. They were renovating the rooms, but the work was sub par. Pillows were dinky. We had to purchase pillows. Too many things were negative, I will not stay here again.

Positives:
Best staff ever! So helpful, flexible, considerate and devoted to giving the best service they can. The location was unmatched! Walking distance to all the best cafes, restaurants, shops and beaches. Good shower, comfy bed, good a/c (cools well and not noisy). Best value for money in the entire area.
Negatives:
The room was very clean when we checked in, but we stayed in it for a whole week and the cleaning staff could have done a better job refreshing it during our stay. Mainly, the floor wasnt very well cleaned. Having said that, we did not complain about it to anyone, and Im quite sure if we did say something they would have corrected the issue.

Great location for us. Some shops and restaurants. More in downtown Encinitas but we walked it and it was okay.

They are updating so that is good but I hope some of the finishes will be fixed. For example better lighting.
