About This Property
If a "Stay aboard the Queen Mary for an experience unlike any other." isn’t for you, board the Queen Mary Hotel for an experience unlike any other. Once a world-class ocean liner, the Queen Mary, now permanently stationed in Long Beach, offers a real glimpse into what transatlantic travel was like during the 30s, 40s and 50s. With its impressive history and tradition of excellence, the ship is more than just a place to rest one’s head. It’s also a place where you can take historic tours, see paranormal attractions, browse shops, relax on the spacious sun deck or enjoy fresh seafood at Chelsea Chowder House & Bar. Even in the rooms you’ll find an impressive history, rich tradition and old world elegance. The ship’s 346 original first-class staterooms and nine suites, adorned with rich wood paneling from all over the world, Art Deco built-ins and original artwork found on the ship during her heyday, all pay homage to a bygone era. Enjoy one of the last luxury ocean liners of its kind.

Positives:
It’s like going back in time. I adore the QM. The beds were soooo comfy and the staff super friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The TV placement in room 140 destroys the entire feel of the cabin. It cheapened it. It should be closer to the window or not there at all.
The brunch should have a dress code that is enforced. It was sad being in this gorgeous room with so much history and flair sitting next to people with dirty ball caps and shorts. I hope you find a way to have more vintage events. A high tea for example! Make it chic, make it expensive, have a dress code. This would also be a good option for people who do not drink alcohol.

Great History!!
Positives:
Fabulous experience. Dog friendly and so well staffed.
It was a special occasion, my birthday. Our experience at the observation deck was phenomenal felt like a queen. The Sunday brunch was a delight and they kept the champagne flowing. It is pricey with tip in excess of $300 for two as guests of the hotel.
Having lived in Vegas for 50 years My standards for a buffet are rather high and this exceeded all. Conde Nast says top ten world wide,
Negatives:
I can honestly say from stem to stern top notch luxury liner experience without a single hitch. I was inadvertently double charged for a pet cleaning fee It was resolved instantly upon check out. In no way a negative experience.
