Lost our reservation- woman at desk was rude- did not offer help or assistance- wanted to recharge us again saying it had been declined when it clearly had gone through- Breakfast that was advertised was not available- 2 mornings there was only bread - elevators not available or not working- was not told that pool was under renovation and would not be available

- The breakfast was a joke, just toasts with jam and coffee; on some days not even that due to reconstruction works
- The area around the hotel isn’t very pretty
- The hotel added around $60 of local taxes that were not listed by Booking

The room was clean and comfortable. We needed a place to crash for the night after arriving into LAX very late. This served that functional need.
Negatives:
The lobby was under construction, which I understand is a necessary process for any facility from time to time, but I still hate being caught off guard showing up to a hotel under construction. I specifically book hotels with the free breakfast because its an easy way to make sure I can get my kids a decent breakfast in the morning without the hassle of having to go elsewhere but because of the construction it was limited to a brown bag breakfast with muffin and juice. Not really what I was picturing. The room was actually nicer than I expected based on my first impression of the lobby and elevators. So that is good.
