Positives:
The location is good and staff is awesome, loved that there was a small electric kettle in room to boil water. Very clean which is why I keep coming back:)
Negatives:
The AC in our room did not work and windows don't open. Room got hot and stuff really fast. Lacked end tables and could have used at least 1 extra chair. 1 chair for 3 people in one room is not enough unfortunately.

Room very small T v was broken they knew before hand and did say anything. The garage and hotel not connected what was that . Motion detector for lights so middle of night going to bathroom all the lights turn on. Did turn down not full clean bathroom etc.

Location is great if that’s where you need to be. Close to Google and meta. Amenities were good too.
Negatives:
It was very loud being on the 2nd floor right beside the pool. In addition the people above me were moving furniture and dragging it accross the floor at 5am. I barely got any sleep for 2 days. I expect that in cheaper hotels, but for the price it was very irritating.

The scent they use all over the hotel and in the room was AWFUL. It’s extremely intrusive and off putting. It was even in the shower products. Just because of this I would not go back. Also, for the price you really would expect a more luxurious feel, but it felt like false advertising when we got there. Definitely stay at the Ameswell if you’re looking for a similar hotel in the area.

bar didn't stay open later than 10 pm. but in the lobby of the hotel we can understand why. but the bar was amazingly stocked with high end quality spirits

Spacious gym; sauna/steam room. Sleek decor. Good cocktails at the bar, free parking.
Negatives:
Some items in the room not working (TV, soap dispenser, bathroom door got stuck); King rooms are a bit claustrophobic for 2 people, and there's no good place to sit and work anywhere else in the hotel if you don't want to disturb your fellow traveler (they charge $$ for the rooms off the lobby). Rooms lack coffee maker/hot water kettle. WIFI was an unsecured network that didn't let me connect to my work VPN (in Silicon Valley? Really??). The weirdest thing was that I noticed the hotel staff checked out my social media pages -- not sure if that's how hotels do their marketing research these days, but I find it highly unusual.
