The stay was very calm...
Positives:
The breakfast staff was excellent and overall they made my stay most enjoyable. They were friendly and the food offered was tasty and the overall atmosphere in the dining area was neat and clean.
Negatives:
I was so disappointed at the front desk staff. When I checked-in after a long international flight, I was told that my room did not include breakfast (which I paid for and was on my booking). All the other patrons were given free water bottles when they checked in but my daughter and I were not accommodated. When we returned from dinner, we asked for water bottles and we were directed to the small shop near the front desk. However, one manager pulled out to bottles from under the desk and gave them to me. I came with my booking the next morning to the front desk (new day staff) and they assured me that indeed, the breakfast included in my stay after all!
Also, the rooms were bare. 2 bath towels, 2 face towels., no complimentary items (lotions, extra soap - all things that various Marriot hotels carry - as this is my hotel of preference). The lighting was on and off over the sink - just bare bones for the money I paid.

It was very far to walk from the parking lot to our room, as we were in 506. We really could have used a luggage cart from the parking garage! If we had know, we would have dropped one of us off at the entrance with the luggage to utilize a luggage cart and the elevator, while the other of us parked in the garage.

The location is terrific. The beds were very comfortable. But after asking for a quiet room we got a room on the high traffic side of the bldg. Not wanting to get the staff who assigned us the room in tbl we did not mention until morning of check out. The individual at the front desk who we had visited with previously was mortified that happened and adjusted our bill.
