The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The proximity to the beach, downtown and la Jolla were also great. And the grounds had a lot of activities if you didn't want to leave.
Negatives:
My only issues were the hotel is a little dated and the doors all slam closed so when people are leaving their rooms, it's very loud and frustrating. The doors are also thin so you can hear conversations in the hall. The patio doors could use a replacement as they're noisy and we could hear the wind even though the door was closed.

Great position, on Mission Bay, walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Their restaurant is great, very nice and competent staff and delicious dinner. Short drive ro downtown San Diego and airport.
