Negatives: For being non smoking rooms mine smelled like smoke

Negatives: Government is paying for the homeless to stay here and we were awakened by a mentally unstable man cursing for at least a half an hour. No police were called the staff just allowed this to happen. Not safe for paying customers.

Negatives: There was no onsite parking. I was told be a clerk when I called the property. I emailed the property Wednesday night asking about parking and never got a response. When I called I was told that there is a limited amount of parking that comes with an additional fee. This needs to be disclosed ahead of time. Of course, there was no cancellation on your end, or the hotel. I ended up going and taking at look at the parking situation and when I realized I could not park my car I booked at the hotel where my conference was being held at. This is unacceptable. Disclosure, disclose, make it very clear that parking is not guaranteed and let the potential traveler decide when on the computer, not often doing circles through downtown San Diego with tons of traffic. This is absurd. I probably will not receive a refund, but you should refund.

Negatives: They charged me $10 for parking with no guaranteed parking which I didn’t have parking. But the manager supposedly gave me the $10 back but I haven’t received it yet!Lots of homeless people around the building.

Negatives: Nothing against less lucky people like homeless but when on holiday it leave you uncomfortable to have lots of them inside and outside the property, Im sorry for them but not feel happy about.

Negatives: I’ve stayed here a couple times before and I think maybe I just got a bad room this time, but the light in the bathroom would only turn on sometimes and it made a loud noise, the bathroom was not cleaned very well and the toilet flushing would flush very hard and spray out some water. It was not the best experience. about an hour after being there the maintenance man just unlocked the room door and came in because “he forgot his fan “ but it was really startling and he also didn’t give me a chance to answer the door.

Negatives: It was difficult to see where the light switches were (under the lights on the sides of the bed).

Negatives: The bathroom did not have towels. We had to call for some to be brought up to us. Parking - I had to pay $10 for parking (not disclosed) but not too expensive Room was a little small and people across the way were inconsiderate to others during late hours. Not the hotel's fault, but a lot of homeless people hanging out in front of the hotel. Not a good feeling to come in late in the evening.
