I was dismayed at the addition of $50.00 to my expected $121.00 quote that I received when I booked. My understanding it was not refundable and standard practice for hotels to cover cost of damage to rooms, etc. This was just a one night stay for an very early surgery. ( I live 2 hours away from the hospital.,) The front desk clerk was far from helpful. I wish you and other hotels would be upfront about your fees. I did not stay. $176.00 for an 11 hour stay was out of my price range. It was upsetting to have to find another hotel so late in the afternoon. It too had an unadvertised $50.00 surcharge but the beginning price was somewhat lower. What gives with not giving the actual price?????????????????????
