Mountain Lodge at Telluride

Negatives: The property is very dated and a not very well maintained. There are broken things everywhere. For example, floors in the pool area, the shower doors, the tubs in the rooms do not work and they are scratched. The beds are very simple and not very comfy. This is a valet parking only and you must walk from whatever building they out you in to the reception every time you want to use your vehicle as the shuttle does not take you into downtown telluride. There’s a 10 minute walk to the gondola and at night it’s very dark and hard to see the path. The restaurant has a very limited menu and closes at 9pm. Some of the staff was not very friendly. I had multiple issues with my bill. I had to talk to hotel staff 4 different times about extra charges in my bill (got charged $150 pet fee every night of my stay even though it’s $150 per the week). On the day of check out, I was given a receipt with an amount and upon my departure, my card got charged another $30 dlls. I had to call the hotel once again to ask what this charged was and they had no idea. Still awaiting a review from the hotel to rectify this charge. It’s been a hassle and I don’t think I will be back.

Negatives: Wish we had a better view, couldn't use the spa tub, the noise level from above and next to us was high, easily heard toilets flushing, baby crying, talking and banging of feet and drawers.

Negatives: Everything but especially the horrid staff

Negatives: Terrible staff. Utterly non responsive!!!

Negatives: No daily sheet or bath towel changes even on request. Small room with dated appliances, decor and bathroom. Bathroom shower door that was coming apart. Difficult parking situation. Small pool and hot tub.

Negatives: Room we had was very small/narrow with an inefficient layout. Not really any place to put bags (ski & boot bags, luggage etc.)

Negatives: 1) Horrible value for the money - about $600/night. 2) Walls are paper thin - you can hear EVERYTHING next door. 3) One of the doormen didn’t even speak English - not an employee problem, but you should not be a doorman if you don’t speak the language. 4) Facilities were mediocre at best – my bathroom light didn’t work and there was trash on the bathroom floor when I checked in. There was also food still in the refrigerator from the last guest. 5) Guest parking is $35/night extra and they scratched my car.

Negatives: It is a bit pricey but to be expected given location and time of year.

Negatives: Hotel Staff was not very friendly except one person. Not very helpful when inquiring about anything. Not very responsive.
