Positives:
The hotel is located very close to Capitol. Easy access to everywhere in DC. NoMA metro station is at 5 min walk.
Negatives:
The room:
- the opaque blinds were missing, we had only translucid blinds.
- ventilation system is poor.
- noisy due to low isolation.
- imediat refurbish required
Breakfast:
- we stayed for 9 days, so we noticed the menu rotation. Only scrambled eggs, sausages, beef and corn, waffles, bacon bits, yogurt, canned fruits, jelly, peanut butter, Philadelphia cream cheese, orange and apple juice. No vegetables.
- be ready to eat on cardboard plates with plastic cutlery
Staff:
- fair, but distant. It seems they are also not so happy with the services they provide
The neighborhood is not so safe during the night, therefore it is recommended to avoid walking.

The localization is great. The rooms are comfortable, and the hotel is clean.
Negatives:
The attendant who checked me in made 3 incorrect charges on my card. We didn’t receive the room key (card) when we arrived, and it was only provided a few hours later. The first room that was assigned had a non-functional bathroom and the air conditioning wasn’t cooling properly. During check-out, they made an incorrect charge

Staff was super friendly especially Neveah! Lobby and elevator were secure.
Negatives:
Furnishings were dated. Not much attention to detail. Noticed some painting had been done on the ceiling in front of the front desk at sometime back. The Blue paint tape is still around the base of the ceiling light fixture. Looks just like no one cares about the little details. My drain in the bathroom sink needs to be cleaned out as it drains super slow to where I had to turn the water off several times while shaving.
