Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Fort Lauderdale - Deerfield Beach

Negatives: This is a homeless shelter that ppl are paying for. We kept getting approached by ppl to wash our car and it was just by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I didn’t feel safe. We were supposed to stay 3 nights and we checked out after the first night. Do not book and I’m very disappointed that the hotel owners have allowed this hotel to operate in this state.

Negatives: Tables and under bed wasn't cleaned or sweep like it supposed, to many dog hair under those.

Negatives: Bathtub was filthy and black mold

Negatives: The beds were hard as a rock. There was never any food at "breakfast;" only coffee, hot tea, hot chocolate and instant grits. Only once during our stay did we see hard boiled eggs and yogurt; and that was AFTER we came down to the lobby, saw no food and went to Wawa for breakfast. Pet fees are $25 per pet, per day... that's definitely a little expensive. Also, no utensils or anything to cook with in kitchenette in the room.

Negatives: The microwave did not work. It turned on and made noise, but did not heat the food. I arrived late and had brought a microwaveable dinner which I had to eat cold. Meh. No ice machine on premises. The meager breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, hot water and instant oatmeal packets!! Suggestion-boiled eggs are super easy to provide, as is peanut butter and apples. A box or bag of donuts or inexpensive pastry pair well with coffee on the run and are easy to provide (for the less healthy eaters). Bagels and a toaster are easy to provide. Yogurt is easy to provide. The common areas of the hotel smelled of a combination of ethnically spiced foods (curry and garlic) and cheap medicinal marijuana. The smell of marijuana was the dealbreaker for me. I know how commonplace it is these days, but I don't want to breathe it. Also, there were a number of feral chickens on the property, and when I arrived, a cluster of chickens was roosting on top of a guest's truck hood (enjoying the warmth of the engine).

Negatives: breakfast options not so satisfying

Negatives: This is the most filthy hotel I've ever stayed in. On arrival at the reception area was a domestic incident taking place with police, very disturbing to see. Truly disgusting room. Human hair, skin and dirt on floors, bathroom and bath facility. Room smelt of cigarettes and mold. Reported all to desk with no response from any staff member. I will never use this companies properties ever again.

Negatives: That booking.com and the hotel canceled my reservation with out my permission and I had to pay again to secure my booking and you and the hotel had to speak to each other and get a refund back for my stay since I paid double to secure the room I booked . And the price I paid wasn’t even worth staying there . Instead of Checking in with no issue I had to stay an hour on the phone with booking.com to get the situation straightened out to make sure I had a place to sleep at night and made sure I get a refund back since I was charged twice for The same room ! Just a bad start on my visit especially I was there for a Funeral for my uncle that passed away . As well noticed other guest checking in were having the same issue as me .

Negatives: I was disappointed that there wasn't a ice machine.

Negatives: Dirty. Room had two huge human hairballs in the dishes cabinet!! Gross.

Negatives: small smoke very bad
