Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port

Negatives: Have to go all down to get ice, and no microwave in room

Negatives: Strong scent of air freshener in lobby. Sounds silly but it was overbearing. Facility could benefit from updates. The carpet and couch in our room had stains and was very worn.

Negatives: I didn't think it was "Hyatt" quality. The building and rooms were out dated.

Negatives: THe furniture in the rooms was very old. Bed was not comfortable.

Negatives: wrong room but worked it out fine very nice to us

Negatives: Ist thing was the shower door had came off the track, but not one had reported it. My husband only took a one min shower because the bathroom floor was flooding. I then report it and they sent two service people and it took the over an hour to fix the door with replacement part, all this time I was waiting to get in the shower. This should have been addressed before they put us in the room. The second thing was the we purchased some cold item from the local deli, milk, yogurt , cold meet etc the day we arrived. We checked the fridge and it was turned to full on. The next morning the fridge did not smell nice and the stuff was warm and not edable. I asked the maintenance guys to look at it when they were fixing the shower, and it had been unplugged. Someone has pulled the fridge all the way out of a fitted cabinet and pull the plug out from the socket. The hotel were not interested in the fact that our food and drinks were ruined. I would not stay at this hotel again, and in general the Hyatt Place chain has gone down in my estimation.
