Hollywood Beach Suites and Hotel

Negatives: Where do I start this hotel was the worst hotel I have ever seen. Look I understand it was cheap but it's not worth it, just pay extra somewhere else. I came for vacation not to sleep in a hotel but it's just terrible. The bed was made of cheap metal me sitting down and the bed was sliding around and making noise, it's a queen bed and im not that big for one person sitting down and it's sliding. The bathroom had rusted handles for the sink, for the shower, for the damn mirror. Like 5 dollar fixes would have been great. They placed me next to a restaurant, I mean we share the same wall. And if you are tired and trying to get sleep you can't because they are blasting music. We just so happened to be sharing the bathroom wall to this restaurant and you can hear the seat stall slam down when someone puts it down. Yeah you can hear the slamming, and it's a loud bang that you have no idea what it is. The tv is old, the remote doesn't work. It's not a smart tv by any chance, so it's pretty much useless again maybe a 200 dollar tv upgrade would go a long way. This tv was so old, I'm not sure it was replaced in 20 years. Again I'm not trying to watch tv, but what I'm I supposed to do when I'm tired, can't sleep from the loud music and im dead tired. The kicker, I drove by many small hotels all have parking, not here. The parking is on there land, but apparently a third party charges you to park there. I'm not sure if this is there fault but guess what another 30 dollars a day if you park your car. So you might as well just upgrade to a better hotel. Please avoid

Negatives: Lots of stairs

Negatives: Since the rooms are close to each other, it was hard to sleep when the next neighbor is having a party in their terrace while we are sleeping.

Negatives: The floor was dirty and the small bathroom was not clean . It;s also old and needs updating it was a small room and I wasn’t impressed with it. The little kitchenette was right next to the bathroom, the bathroom had an old smell I kept the door closed the entire time. The worst part was that my bathroom window faced the Mexican restaurant and if you shower at night a silhouette of your body can be seen, also the music was so loud it was hard to watch tv or sleep.

Negatives: The shower had left behind soap and conditioner inside floor of shower

Negatives: The parking fee is a bit much but but what do you expect we on the beach

Negatives: Kind of hard to find the main office. They don’t offer all the same beach toys pictures on their site.

Negatives: Up to date and modern

Negatives: My wife hurt her back and we wanted to cancel the trip. She stayed home while I tried to take care of business without her. It was a non-refundable reservation. We have to reschedule with both of us.

Negatives: The fact that we were told when we checked in that we had to pay for parking because the hotel DOES NOT own their parking lot which was $30 per night. The room was teeny tiny for a family of 4. The bathroom was barely a bathroom. The room had a cat smell. The A/C in the bedroom didn't run cool at all so we had to sleep with the door open to stay cool. And then we were told to make sure not to stain the sheets or towels or we will be charged. Like seriously!? The Caribbean on Garfield St was much better and I'll probably book there next time.

Negatives: Very small. Like extremely small
