We couldn't sleep with our ceiling fan on and the light off! The light would automatically come back on after a few minutes by itself!!!

I booked through booking for 2 nights ( 20th and 21st) for a city view. We ended up coming one day sooner I booked a room through hotels tonight that was cheaper with no view for the 19th last minute. It actually faced another alley that was torn up and under construction but we got in at 10 pm so I didn't care. When I went down the morning of the 20th I said I like to move to my city view room, the 2 people at the front desk said the view is the same from both rooms. Awkward silence. I said I'd like a city view room I booked they said they're the same.More staring at each other. I left. I actually took a couple pictures of my window view. Then the morning of the 22nd our last day they started screwing things into the wall and floor in the room directly above us at about 8am. Almost forgot, there were no towels by the pool so I found a really nice cleaning lady in the hall who radioed someone for towels. They came up in a rolling cart the guy put them on the rack, then filled the same bin with the garbage bags he emptied from around the pool and from the bar. Great place and location. Pretty poor service and pool towels in a garage bin. Sorry I never write reviews I just don't go back but I was pretty mad. Thanks

The location is good. A bit difficult to get to because of road works but good parking and 2 mins walk to the main areas. Rooftop pool the kids loved it. Breakfast staff were chatty, friendly and kind.
Negatives:
Staff on front desk were not friendly at all. Indifferent, no welcome, no nothing!
Room was very dark.
No bar in the lobby. Only bar was on rooftop which in March was pretty chilly at night.
