Negatives: The value didn't live up to the price. There are a lot of geese on the property so walking around outside isn't an option unless you want to be in a fight with one or step all through their poop. There was water leaking from the ceiling in several places in the building. No buckets or signage either, you could just hear and see it. The fire alarms on the wall didn't appear like they were able to be pulled in case of an actual fire. I saw one with the actual plastic cover and the others all the way back to my room, looked like they were there for decoration. The AC wouldn't blow very long and I don't think the temperature actually decreased at all. Only one of the two ceiling lights worked until the end of our stay. The TV flickered so much you couldn't watch it off you had epilepsy. I was overcharged by $300 because the hotel said that booking cancelled my stay back in December (and I was not notified). They said there were about 2000 others in my boat. So I told booking, and they said that I wasn't cancelled. Don't know who's fault but I paid more than I booked to stay and with it being Derby weekend, I didn't have many other choices. The bar was fun the first night. They have a dj and reasonably priced drinks. Got a little rowdy, as expected with all of the out of town guests, and when we looked for the man in the suit to break up some of the riff raff, he appeared but with his camera first before he stepped in to manage the situation. Thankfully, the crowd pretty much policed itself after that. The second night we ordered pizza, after watching several other groups order and eat pizza in the bar. When I opened mine, boss man in the suit said we couldn't eat it in the bar for insurance reasons. Totally fine, and we respected that and took it to our room. Rules are rules. BUT we were probably the 4th group in the bar with pizza and they all maintained that no one asked them to stop eating theirs.
