I stayed two nights and the first night I paid for the over priced breakfast and it wasn't anything special.
It was a typical breakfast you would get at a hotel with free breakfast.

Do not make reservations there unless you read the fine print. We made a reservation sitting in the parking lot only to go in and discover they don't include breakfast. Tried to cancel the reservation. Thought we had then a few days later discover a charge for one night stay.

The staff was super friendly, and the facilities were super clean. I loved the goodie bag left in my room. It was a perfect night away to de-stress.
Negatives:
I wish the menu in the bar restaurant had a few more options. It was still great food. Breakfast I just grabbed what was out and it was cold. I noticed a menu sitting on the table after I grabbed some food but didn't see anyone in the breakfast area working.

This hotel is in a very convenient part of town, very close to restaurants and highways ( toll ) was there for a Notre Dame game and the hotel was pretty close to the university. The staff was very friendly, helpful and always had welcoming smiles. Nothing too fancy about this hotel, but it provided what i was looking for during this night stay prior to a game. I would recommend this hotel.
Negatives:
The bathroom door was difficult to close, it may have been warped from moisture or some other foundation issue, not sure. The curtains and comforters were a bit dated but that's all a personal taste.

Pool was dirty. Lots of large dirt/particles on the bottom. Pool ladder was broken. Pool was extremely cold. Hot tub/Spa was also broken and out of commission. Room was okay. The bathroom had a leaking tub faucet. Toilet seat slightly broken.
