Positives:
The rooms never smell stale. The pillows always have a fresh scent or smell. When the pillows and sheets are clean, that is always a plus. I do not believe in laying on bedding from other guests.
Negatives:
The young children using their hands and fingers at breakfast! No guidance from the parents, and me formerly in the food business, I could not eat any foods that were exposed to the children.

Staff was friendly. Son dropped his phone and someone turned it in and the staff immediately new it was ours because of our conversation at check in about why we were there. Room was clean and beds comfy.

The room was nice and spacious. We booked executive suite and was not disappointed in the room size. Lobby was clean, as well as breakfast area.
Negatives:
I booked based on hotel having a pool but it was closed for maintenance it said upon arrival. Did not see this on their website or anything so we were very disappointed. Our room, as well as stairways had very noticeable stains on carpet and hallways weren't vacuumed. Bathroom had jetted tub but it did not work. And we could never find staff at the front desk. Took forever to check in because no one was there for a long time. Then checking out, There was no one and I didn't know what to do but we had to leave based on time and there a room key box so used it. Pancake machine had sign not working during breakfast as well.

Trim the fur tree over the sidewalk at the main entrance so that you don’t have to duck to walk on the sidewalk.

I asked to have my money refunded because I booked at the wrong Holiday Express. I needed to be at the Greenwood, Indiana Holiday Express. They didn’t refund my money and they couldn’t be bothered to even reply to the request.
