Everything was excellent outside of the breakfast.
Negatives:
The breakfast was a disaster. Cups the size of shot glasses for juice and the juice tasted like almost 100% concentrate (undiluted), the eggs were really a weird texture, the sausage tasted strange and weird texture, extremely limited selection.
Positives:
Although a few years old, still thought it was a new hotel. The room was very quite. Location was great - short walk to restaurants blocks away.
Negatives:
The hotel was overrun with volleyball players and their families so the breakfast staff could not keep up in the later hour of the breakfast. Reasonable issue.

Convenient to downtown Louisville and good value. Large room well lit and maintained comfortable temperature. B+ breakfast with many good choices. Very responsive staff - got slow bathroom sink fixed immediately. Good amenities. Comfortable beds.
Negatives:
Bathroom had garbage left from prior tenants. Otherwise good. Few places to eat within walking distance.

The location and free parking... just across the bridge from downtown Louisville. Room was clean well stocked and staff was friendly.

Positives:
I like that I'm only 7 minutes away from my son and his family when I stay here. There's a park across the street, and the walking bridge, as my grandbabies call it, is also very close.
Negatives:
Breakfast selection could be better, especially for the price of the nightly stay. Each time I visit, the rates are higher, making it more difficult to continue to book here.
