The staff was friendly.
Negatives:
The Roaches!!!! First it was ants, so I asked to moved to another room which was more dingy than the first room. Woke up at 3am and saw roaches crawling on the carpet, the curtain and the closet. I shook out my clothes, packed my bags and checked out!!

Rooms were very dusty. Carpet was stained with what I hope was we cool-aid. Bathroom door handle almost falling off. Wall plates with loose screws sticking out. There was hair on one of the beds

Location and morning breakfast was good considering visiting Christmas.

Food left over on couch and decorative pillows felt awful like someone bleed/puked on (smelled like it too)

Standard hotel layout. Great location. 10 minutes from downtown Lafayette. 20 or so from the university, depending on traffic.

Lack of towls. Doors are loud, you can hear if anyone is leaving the rooms near yours.

The breakfast was ok. Waffles, sausages and eggs along with pastries, yogurt and cereal. Pretty typical hotel breakfast.

The pool was closed. The site advertises a pool, but it was unavailable. I would have chosen a different hotel for my children had I known that ahead of time. Overpriced due to the football game.
