Location very good, as I was visiting family/friends in Manchester. Staff was awesome. As I had too much luggage to carry and no elevator to the second floor, the clerk offered to carry my large bag and I happily accepted his help.
Negatives:
Wish I had known there was a second floor and no elevator. I would have requested a first-floor room when I booked. As I booked through a third party (Booking.com), the clerk said he was unable to accommodate that request when I arrived.

AC/heating system was making a lot of noise (belt or fan) so I ended up having to turn it off to sleep. Not their fault in any way.

Please add a shower handle in shower. The water appeared to be treated with softener, and both my husband and I felt like we were going to slip and fall in the shower. a handle would have been great.
