The staff at this place was amazing very cordial and informative. Very very nice. I was very pleased with the people that work there.

Not much. I thought from the pictures that the room was going to be larger. The sofa was so uncomfortable that I’m still having back issues from laying there for three nights. The area was not the best. It was not what I expected from a Hilton.

The closeness to public transportation to Jazz Fest, closeness to the French Quarter, staff friendliness and helpfulness, breakfast. I also liked the security of the building.

I can’t think of anything that could be better.

Accommodations for Jazz Fest 2024
Positives:
It was comfortable, roomy and quiet. They were able to provide a quiet room on the fourth floor which I had requested. There was a person near the front desk that could help with questions about the city. There was adequate response to problems that occurred when I reported them to the front desk.
I am attracted to Home Suites because it gives the opportunity to prepare my own food.
Negatives:
1. Before I arrived in New Orleans, I sent emails with questions. I never got any answer at all. I only received offers for a better room or tours during my stay which I had not asked for nor needed. That was compensated by the adequate help provided on site. However, the communication with guests beforehand needs to be upgraded and more personalized. Not all those automatically sent offer mails.
2, For the breakfast provided, there were no alternative options for the milk butter and cheese. For example, Only butter, no margarine. Only cows milk, no possibility of alternative, The cook had no oil to cook with and could therefore not make eggs for me without butter. She did her best for me one morning to specially scramble eggs with minimal butter product.
