Serving PB & J daily since 1988.
Needed a convenient location for a med school graduation. Le Pavillion has location, location, location. So easy to walk to the university med center campus and then the convention center for the commencement ceremony. A short walk to the Riverwalk, the New Orleans Holocaust Memorial and The Cabildo House.
Nice peekaboo view of the Crescent City Connection bridge from our seventh floor room.
Loved the cute PB & J Tradition. Apparently a guest ordered a late night glass of cold milk from the bartender and shared that he always drank a glass of milk and ate a PB & J sandwich with his daughter. To feel close to her even when he was away, he still drank a glass of cold milk. The staff was so touched by this sweet story that they made him a PB & J sandwich to go with his glass of milk. Today, you can enjoy a PB & J snack from 4-5 daily served with a cold glass of whole or chocolate milk in the lobby near the bar. A little something extra.
Parking is available via valet. Intentionally booked a room that included overnight parking, otherwise it would have been $51 per night.
Convenient location on Poydras. About a 15 minute walk to the Quarter, the convention center and the med school.

The rooms were comfy, although the beds were a bit too soft. Would have liked to have had bottled water to make hot tea or coffee in the room, but there is a self serve machine behind the check-in desk to make a chai latte or a cappuccino

Room is clean. Bed is wonderful. Location is convenient and safe. Lemon water is available at the lobby.

The caps of shampoo and shower gel bottles are broken. Check-in was delayed. We weren't able to check in until 6:30pm.

I called ahead to ask if we could use the rooftop pool before our official check in time and the lady lied and said yes. We get there and are told that the pool has been closed since COVID. Then we are told check-out is an hour before our email says it is and the cleaning staff doesn’t acknowledge the email and says “oh well” (tbh not their fault, they have a job to do). Just absurdly bad service
