Negatives: Rooms that were reserved 6+mo in advance were not available at time of check in. Given two smaller rooms and only $35.00 credit /room as compensation. Will never stay at this hotel again.

Positives: The location is fantastic if you have small children; you just walk across the street to all the inner harbor attractions. Our son loved the harbor view and the elevators are really cool...they are glass and give you an awesome view as you go up and down. The elevators easily accommodate strollers. The hotel staff were professional and polite and able to accommodate a request for a room with a bathtub for our kid. The door staff always opened the doors when they saw us rolling toward them with a stroller. The room was clean and well furnished.
Negatives: So, this is a hotel right next to the convention center and the very busy Light Street. Most of the guests are working professionals, not families. We saw only two other families on our weekend trip. Not a problem, just something to note. As for the hotel, some minor appearance issues...like the hallway carpet on the 11 floor badly needs replacing. A more serious problem is the beds were strangely uncomfortable...very rigid mattresses (and we like a firm mattress, but this was too much). We found a three inch cockroach in our bathroom, which was disconcerting but I mean it's a huge hotel in the city so there's bound to be pests somewhere. The room wasn't dirty or anything, just a random roach hanging out. We flushed it. While the location is convenient, it is also downtown Baltimore so it's very loud...lots of traffic and sirens. If that will bother you or your kids, you may want to download a white noise app (our room had a Bluetooth speaker available) or choose a quieter hotel. Also, you should know that the Bistro 3000 breakfast buffet is $26 per person (no charge for our 4 year old, who didn't eat much) with an 18 percent service charge before tip. It is a really good buffet with plenty of hot and cold options and attentive staff, but maybe not for every morning. We could see the pool from our window, but it wasn't in use because it's the off season. It's large and went from about 2.5 feet to 6ish feet. The shallow area was not roped off but that might be because it was closed for the season.

Positives: The location of this property was perfect. Short walk to many restaurants and shopping at the inner harbor and also a short walk to the baseball stadium.
Negatives: The WiFi was down for 1 of the 3 days we stayed at this property and I was planning on working from the hotel. There was a plumbing issue and the water got turned off on our entire floor for several hours. Lastly, we got stuck in an elevator one evening and it took quite a while to get out. Not the best experience.

Positives: Location was nice to walk to Inner Harbor and Camden Yards for a baseball game.
Negatives: A lot of construction in and around the Hyatt. The parking garage was hard to access due to construction. The crosswalk bridge to Inner Harbor was closed due to construction. My wife has MS and a hard time walking so I pick the Hyatt for location and convenience. If I would've known about all the construction I would have chosen another place. Also, was very noisy at night. Cars revving engines, racing and honking horns, fire and police sirens and whistles constantly throughout the night. Thank God for the room having a sound machine to block out some of it.

Positives: Location was good
Negatives: I would give zero stars. There were several issues with this place: 1. Check-in was delayed by about 40 minutes, and the female receptionist with a short haircut behaved impolitely. She showed no remorse over the delay and acted as if it was my fault for being on time. 2. The shower drainage was clogged. 3. The WiFi was terrible. 4. At times, there was no water in the taps.

Positives: Visited the area for liege-bastogne-liege. The location is excellent, right next to the start with free parking on site. Rooms are modest, but very clean. Quite night. Simple continental breakfast available for reasonable price.
Negatives: Nothing, it is a two star accommodation and if you manage your expectations correctly in regards of facilities and comfort, this accommodations has excellent value for money.
