Positives: All went well. As always: from Front Desk to Dining, everything was perfect. It is not my first time at your hotel -- every year I need to be in Boston to take care of personal businesses, and could not wish for a better place to stay.
Negatives: Nothing could be better than what I have experienced in the many years I have stayed in your hotel. I am sure you are constantly improving, but the level of excellence is so high that it is hard to notice upswing changes, as one hardly notices changes for the better in what is already better!

Positives: I liked that it was close to the downtown area. The facilities were kept clean and the environment was both professional and family friendly so a wide variety of groups could feel welcome. The charging ports and plugs all worked and were conveniently placed throughout the room which is very important to us. We have stayed at other Hampton Inns within the Boston area (specifically the one near the Boston-Logan location) and this location was WAY better in comparison. Much cleaner and the airport location always has multiple things broken and falling apart. I have stayed there about 4 times within the past year and every room has things falling apart (especially all of the built in charging ports), the ice machines are always broken and the elevators are slow and sometimes out of order. Because of these things at the Boston-Logan airport location I had come to have low expectations of the brand within Massachusetts. This location has improved my perception of the Hampton Inn brand from just this brief stay.
Negatives: It was very difficult to find the proper parking garage and because it was 5pm traffic it was impossible to take adequate time to find the right places to turn. The signage should be larger and easier to see from far away because in a traffic jam there is very little time to plan ahead and GPS has a hard time with it as well. However, once we knew where it was, it was easy to get in and out of. $25 a day for parking was also an outrageous amount to charge for a hotel that is already charging you over $200 a night. I liked that security was an obvious priority but it was a bit too much. My family was unable to use the bathroom in the lobby (after a very long trip) until we were finished checking in because you need a room key to use both the public restroom and the elevators. It made the check in process a bit more urgent because we needed a room key quickly. It was all very odd but they may have had a situation in the past and it’s better to have too much security than not enough in a downtown location. I thought the light switch system in the room was weird as well. There were switches that didn’t seem to do anything and then there was a random master switch that would kill everything in the room if it was not on. Very strange.

Positives: Breakfast was great! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean.
Negatives: The pool was not heated and was so dirty that you could not see to the bottom of it. You could not use the closet in the room if the pullout couch was open - not a great layout.

Positives: Very clean. Excellent staff. Very helpful. Smelled good in the whole building! I have stayed in many places and have never said that before. I personally thanked the staff. They jumped our car for us. Very safe inside the hotel. Good food. Comfortable bed.
Negatives: The hotel is located in a very busy area next to a hospital. Lots of traffic noise. We brought a sound machine. Unfortunately some people near the area struggling with hardships.

Positives: Being close to Boston Medical Center is a plus, and you can add to that a friendly staff, excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms and I could not wish for a more pleasant base for my stays in the city where I grew up.
Negatives: Cannot think of a thing I didn´t like.

Negatives: Customer service checking in was very poor also when I call to inquire about early check in, lady on the phone was rude. The shower was a bit faulty, but I worked with it. The entire property could use a renovation!!
