Breakfast was great! The location was perfect, not far from Charlevoix and Petoskey.
Negatives:
Our big mirror was covered in very large greasy hand prints, not one or two, several. There were so many I cleaned the mirror. Refrigerator didn't work, kept getting warm. Our food went bad. Lights by and in bathroom were so dim. It was pretty dark. Furniture was old and worn. Room felt and looked very dirty. Made me question if it was a safe place to stay, was this a bad side of Charlevoix? We would have tried to find another place to stay, but we just drove several hours, we were tired and it was getting late. Staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was very limited with only one hot food item ( biscuits with sausage gravy). There was cold cereal and breads for toasting. It was Easter morning so I guess we expected more options than what was offered.

Our stay was a bit unexpected, as our reservations for a different place fell though. We were thoroughly pleased when we arrived here. The staff was wonderful. There was a nice selection for breakfast from biscuits and gravy, waffles and cold cereals. Everything was good! They offered tea, hot chocolate and coffee 24-7.
