The house keeping was rude , if you asked for some help they’ll give you the death stare and huff and puff like it’s a problem to get extra toiletries. They didn’t supply enough toilet paper in the room . The elevator is old and dirty ( chewed gum on the floor and other trash ). Breakfast isn’t free besides the orange juice and waffle .

Breakfast: if you say complimentary breakfast it doesn’t mean that you just serve cold food only( like bread, yogurt, muffins, there has to be some hot food like scrambled egg, potato
Coffee pot was very small can not serve 10 people at a time
Need proper coffee machine. Also the staff was not prompt to refill the empty food or beverages.
People come and stay in hotel for some relaxation breakfast timing was worst 6:00am to 9:00am. I saw lots of visitors came after nine and they didn’t have anything to serve as staff start closing down the breakfast area 5 mins before 9:00 am

Location was convenient for my purpose of being in Troy, and was away from the busy main roads.
Negatives:
It was recently renovated, but done very cheaply. My room was on the first floor and had a non-working sliding door that really freaked me out. People walked right up to my room. It also seemed there were some sketchy characters around. I very much got the vibe there is a lot of drug use on/around the facility property.

Lobby is gorgeous, with all the free coffee and tea you want. Restaurant is nice. Bed was comfy
Negatives:
The rest of the hotel is a hot mess. Old dirty elevator, with sticky floors and the carpets on the hall haven't been updated since the 80's. Old worn and there is dated smell as well. If you spend the money to update the lobby, why not the rest of the hotel ?
