I did not like sharing a room with roaches. I had ONE crawl across the floor and found several DEAD with a trap behind the refrigerator and one dead in the microwave. It was disgusting!!!! I checked out Immediately after finding these bugs and said I'd rather sleep in my car

Very accommodating and polite they didn't charge me a Cancelation fee when I needed to cancel my trip with them

They have a pet rule that we could not leave our dogs alone in the room unattended. We came to Detroit area to worrk for doordash.

The convention we were attending was right up the road. So that was good.

Mismanaged. Went to our room at check in there was a guy smoking in the room stating he was maintenance. Sink stopped up every time it was used. Beds were hard and on hard platforms. Then moved the pillow to find rocks under them. It would appear that it is used as a live in hotel with substances issues. Property was run down on the outside. Hasp locks on doors that have been kicked in. Loud fights in hallways just not a mental comfortable place. Even going to the front desk the team seems to be buddies with them so saying anything would have just made our stay more uncomfortable. So Im usually a fan of Motel 6 the ones In other states that Ive stayed in are great. I will not be recommending the one in Detroit. So Im not sure if it is just the area and they cater to that or if its the management of this location.
