Negatives: Building was I in fair condition

Negatives: Oh goodness. Where to begin with this hotel room debacle. First and foremost - I believe the hotel should have to apprise potential guests about construction/renovations happening while you are to be staying at the hotel. They aren’t just renovating rooms at this hotel it is a full blown construction (hard hat) zone. First there is next to no parking because of all the construction and construction vehicles. Our room was right by the door where all the construction and debris was. I had children with me and I feared for their safety walking into and out of the hotel because of a huge Crain holding up a box over the walkway. The construction crew began drilling and sawing at 5:45 in the morning. Right outside our hotel room door. Workers left open saws in the walking area. Glass and tile pieces were in the walk way. One door wouldn’t properly close. I mean all this things have to be OSHA violations I would think. There were moth holes in the curtains and the curtains they put up didn’t even cover the entire window. We had to wait 25 minutes to get hot water in our hotel room not to mention the amount of water that came out of the shower head wasn’t sufficient to really bath anyone. I was honestly scared staying at this hotel. Like someone might break into our room and hurt us. One night from 12-3am on the floor above us there was such a commotion that I almost called the police because I thought someone was being assaulted. We were in Brandon for a church singing school for my kids so we weren’t in the hotel but to sleep (which I didn’t get much of) and that’s the only reason I didn’t ask for my money back and check out early. If you are planning a visit to Jackson (Brandon or Pearl), MS please please please don’t stay at this location. It’s like a war zone & totally unsafe

Negatives: Our room was spacious but felt ‘undone’. Like it was opened for us and towels were in the bathroom. But it just lacked decor overall. The lobby was very well done so I kind of expected more. Also, there was a sign for the pool and spa but there was no pool or spa.

Negatives: The hotel was in process of remodeling There were containers outside The shear curtains had blood on them also on ceiling the beds were very hard Very loud traffic outside

Negatives: It was very limited on parking due to construction. The room and bathroom was dirty and aged. The bed was extremely firm.

Negatives: The breakfast

Negatives: The furniture was outdated, stained, and torn. No pool, Parking was very limited. Only stayed 1 night, cancelled the 2nd night before we checked in and they still charged me for 2 nights, even though I was told by 3 different people that I would not be charged.

Negatives: One room had bed bug's

Negatives: I think they should notify guest when they have a major construction project ongoing and offer serious discounts accordingly. Because of this parking was limited.

Negatives: The plug-ins in the bathroom did not work at all. They had dirty men’s underwear left in the bathroom that was never picked up and the floor was dirty. I brought it to her attention to the front desk, but they did not do nothing about it. They were supposed to give a discount but never got it

Negatives: Air did not work, air conditioning unit was filthy. No parking and pool was being filled in for more parking.. should have been informed of this when booking .. breakfast left a lot to be desired
