Our room smelled of marijuana, the front desk person came and sprayed the room with air freshener which did not work. The a/c was loud and the room key never worked. The hotel is in a deep need of repair. Breakfast was terrible Hotel should not be 2.5

Great location. Easy to get anywhere in Carthage from there!

Breakfast! Ive stayed here a handful of times and they just fail miserably at breakfast! This time they had waffles and syrup but no bread, bagels or any of they. There was gravy but no biscuits A couple spoons of egg. Yogurt but no spoons!

This hotel is very much in need of remodeling. Its extremely shabby. There were holes in the walls in the hallways. Furniture is old and worn. We had a dead cockroach in our bathroom. I would not advertise this hotel.

Yes first of all they did not put me in my room that I paid for a week ahead of time. I needed a handicap room but they put me in a regular room. On the second floor. Plus the toilet was too low couldn't get off. No working TV/keys/phone for emergency.

Easy and convenient to find and get to .room was close to entrance so easy to transport baggage from car to room. The heater in the room worked well.

hot water. The second week the heater wouldn't work exchanged it for a room with a heater that wouldn't shut off very poor staff that wouldn't clean the rooms. And the phones in the rooms wouldn't hardly work. Very miserable time at this hotel

Our tv didnt work. When we called the front desk, the woman said she would send someone right up. An hour later I went to the front desk and she said, hes in another room. She had forgotten all about us. The vending machine didnt work.

Pool was wonderful, open late, and not too much chlorine! Very warm also!

One of the employees boyfriend or a maintenance worker was hanging out by the front desk all night and he looked kinda sketchy. Wasnt dressed right to be working at a hotel. No uniform - raggedy jeans and white tshirt. At best it was unprofessional.

I wasn't for sure I would stay here again after the last time I was here. I gave them another chance and they are under new management, it is now like it was several years ago, everything nice and clean, new bedding and bathroom with soft towels.

The toilet in our first allocated room overflowed onto the floor after being flushed for the first time.
When we came down for breakfast, most items including the coffee urn were empty and we were informed that the hotel had run out of ingredients. Staff managed to provide coffee and we relied on our own supplies.
