Negatives: The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Negatives: Did not have any issues with our stay.

Negatives: There is no safety lock on the doors.

Negatives: Check in staff rude and unfriendly. I asked if there were Ubers. She moves the business card holder from the corner of the desk closer to me. So I took a few local taxi business cards. She was NOT helpful, or friendly or welcoming!! She did say there are Ubers but we have to have the app. My daughter wanted to go on the deck overlooking the marina to take pictures and the door was locked. Instead of coming over to assist, unfriendly check in girl calls over to us to “just unlock it”. Oh ok. Thanks for your (lack of) help! And why are the doors locked at 4:00 on a Thursday anyway? Later, after we returned from our night out, went to the front desk to inquire about the Toad Bar. We asked where it was and what time they closed. Same girl at check in, still unfriendly and unhelpful pointed down the hall, said she didn’t know the hours and “they close when there’s no more people”. So I said, “we just take our chances of walking down there and hope they’re open?” So we went to our room instead and planned on sitting on the balcony. OMG!! We opened the sliding glass door to go out and there were like 10,000 small bugs out there. We closed the door IMMEDIATELY but at least 100 bugs were already in our room, at the ceiling and near the lights in the room. So we left the bathroom light on all night hoping the bugs would go in there instead of ON US! In the morning, there were about 25 dead bugs in the bathroom sink! So disturbing. There should be a warning somewhere about the bug infestation at night & to keep the balcony door closed! After we checked out, I got charged an additional “resort fee” which I was not made aware of when I prepaid the NONREFUNDABLE room fee!! I called and questioned it and the unfriendly man who answered told me it was a separate fee! FOR WHAT??!! There were no (additional) services or amenities for this “extra fee”!! We were treated poorly. We did not feel valued. I will be fighting this extra charge.

Negatives: The drain under the kitchen sink was not in good repair and caused for water to run out all over the floor.

Negatives: Nothing

Negatives: We went in the off season which made it cheaper and we almost had the place to ourselves. BUT almost everything was closed down. Many of the amenities you would enjoy in the summer (onsite bars, pool, places to eat) were not available. There was NO ROOM SERVICE and that seemed weird for such a nice hotel. Nothing terrible but just know it is skeleton crew and features in the off season.

Negatives: My husband has bad knees so we always request a room close to the lobby or elevator to shorten his walk. They responded right away and said they were happy to meet our room requests and room would be available on arrival. When we arrived, we had the furthest room from the lobby, and thus the longest walk! Needless to say, I was not happy and asked the person at the front desk why they assigned us that room, which was the opposite of what I requested, AND they responded that they were happy to be able to meet our request. Her response was, "I didn't do your room assignment." I understand that good help is hard to come by these days, but do your room reservationists not know your hotel layout?!?
