No words were spoken at check-in, i had to ask all the questions to find out when breakfast was, how much was the deposit they held on my card etc. Very cold welcome that gave a bad spin to what was a lovely stay otherwise.

Location and amenities. The room was clean and fit our needs nicely.
Negatives:
The front staff was the only negative to our experience. Checking in or asking about local cuisine or even just simple questions, their responses were as if we inconvenienced them or that they did not care. The cleaning staff always said hello and smiled.
Positives:
The staff at the the desk were extremely nice and helpful! The hotel was clean and I liked that there wasn't any carpet in the rooms. Loved that there were games available to play and several great spaces for families/groups to hang out.
Negatives:
The beds could have been a little more comfortable and could use additional pillows.

Positives:
The location was nice, and the shower was superb. I enjoyed the refrigerator in the room. The pool table in the lobby was fun. The colorful lobby was nice. Complimentary coffee was nice also.
Negatives:
There were not ice buckets in the rooms or on each floor. The ice buckets were on the main floor and were not lined and there was nothing to line them with. I expected a larger room for the price. I also thought a robe would be a very nice touch and I think other Hilton's provide them. This seemed much less quality than I would expect from a Hilton. Maybe they need to put Paris on a budget? The walls were so thin. I am pretty sure I heard some things that I didn't want to hear and not intended for me to hear. The pillows were terrible. I was thinking a Hilton would have a restaurant with a bar but that was not the case at this one. Breakfast was not good. The old-style toaster oven/belt thing burnt my bagel to a crisp and it was not edible. A microwave might be a welcome enhancement. My fianc said the oatmeal was terrible and we ended up going out to breakfast.

Television didn't work and the hair dryer was broken. Even after they "fixed the TV. After turning it off it wouldn't come back on again.

Tru wasn't the best experience I've had when staying at a Hilton
Positives:
It was a very clean facility. The beds were comfortable. Kind of a smaller room but utilized very well.
Negatives:
The price was higher than expected when booking. prices shown online need to reflect the price with taxes. When you come in from out of town you are not aware of the local taxes until after booking a room. I also did not like being woken up by a dog barking at 2am. Hotel/motels are for people, kennels are for pets.
