Positives:
The location is perfect. The ambiance of the hotel is very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room felt "relatively" clean.
Positives:
We were here for New Years Eve celebration, so the location was great and luminaries were exceptionally beautiful. The room was clean and pretty.
Negatives:
No breakfast. Only one person checking people in, so we had a long wait in line. Bed was soft. No microwave in room. Coffee and hot water were not available all day. Expensive.
Positives:
It was beautifully set. It had just snowed in Santa Fe so it could not have been prettier. The rooms are great size and the bathrooms are very nice.
Negatives:
It was not a dislike, just a safety issue in the bathtub. It would be great to have a bar to hold onto or a nonslip bathmat.
Positives:
The bar is the best part of the hotel, however some of the staff was not so great.
Negatives:
We found bugs crawling in our room on the ceiling. Wifi service was out for most of the stay. Bartender and server in bar were not friendly.

Great rooms and location. We were able to walk to bars, restaurants, and shopping. We loved sitting at night in front of the fireplace in the "living room." We felt like we were home in our own living rooms. So cozy. We were celebrating some birthdays. When we told the valet, they sent up a bottle of champagne. It was such a nice gesture. We loved the balconies outside our rooms. The restaurant was fantastic! Best meal we had in Santa Fe.

Slow elevators, but it is an older building.

I enjoy swimming/spa. There was no information that the pool area was under major construction.

We had a spacious room with a large balcony

No bathroom fan or it wasn't functioning. They could have used 1-2 more staff in "The Livingroom"

Check In/Check Out was good. Spa was the best part of my trip. High level service/treatment.
Negatives:
Room was small for the price paid. Nothing really stood out as exceedingly great. May as well have been a Hampton Inn that I paid 4 times the price I should have. I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and was disappointed in the "progress" made since that stay. The nostalgia is gone and it has become a place of deep consumerism.

The location and spa did not disappoint; however, I will look for a vacation rental on my next trip.
