Spacious, clean room and large bathroom; fitness centre is well appointed and clean; Keurig coffee maker in room; nice city view of Lafayette Square; the restaurant is excellent! Food was amazing and the service is exemplary, such friendly and kind staff there!

The pool is very oddly shaped and it's not appealing to be in close quarters with other bathers; the room decor is a little "dated", the tv is on the older side

Front desk staff were very receptive and kind. Kids loved the pool. Breakfast staff was very accommodating to granddaughters allergies.
Negatives:
Continental breakfast had to pay $8 for. Table not cleaned well.

No parking at hotel, closest parking was an uncovered lot on the next block. I was charged over $150 more than the total on booking, which included tax. There was no way for deliveries to go upstairs (elevators were operated by key cards)

Negatives:
For being over-charged for eclipse rate breakfast should have been included. It was difficult to temperature control the room - if you are inactive or sleeping - the heat shuts off and COLD air blows!
