It appeared that the hotel rooms had been renovated. I was surprised to see how clean my room was. The bedding was all white, which let me know that the housekeeping staff wanted to provide a very comfortable experience for me.

The price seems a little steep at times and there don't seem to be many accessible rooms. I always seem to get the same room, 149, a little variety would be nice since I use this hotel rather often.

The room itself seemed to be fairly recently updated and was nice and clean, the beds were reasonable comfortable. The included breakfast was very basic but acceptable.
Negatives:
Well from the minute we arrived to check in, the lady at the front desk was very hostile and abrupt, we requested a non -smoking room as our last hotel absolutely stank (another chain) and the woman told us it would be a payable upgrade, which we thought was ridiculous! The right to a clean, chemical free room for the night shouldn’t cost more. We have young children and weren’t president to spend the night in a smelly room, the lobby smelt disgusting, as did the hallway but thankfully the room itself was fine. After an embarrassing amount of time arguing, the woman finally agreed to give us a non smoking room for no extra cost. Once settled, we noticed only enough towels for 3 even though there were 4 of us, my daughter went down to the front desk and requested another one and told us the lady was very rude to her about it. Our experience was not just her rudeness, but the total hostility as though we’re were an imposition rather than the customers that without, she wouldn’t have a job. We also witnessed her speaking rudely to a staff member, right in front of us which was really unprofessional and embarrassing for the poor gentleman.
