The room was spacious, the AC was cold, and it was close off 95

This hotel was under construction, no pool, or fitness center was available.This was not disclosed not on booking and the staff didnt mention it or excuse it on check in either.
Positives:
The hotel had easy access off the highway and was close to a gas station. It is by itself, with not much around. Undergoing renovations, so it was a bit messy. The staff were very friendly. The beds were awesome as were the TV and internet. The toiletries were nice and the tub was low enough not to be a problem for people with mobility issues. Shower pressure was good and the water was hot. Seemed to be well insulated against outdoor noises. Loved having a bar and small restaurant on the proerty.
Negatives:
There is only one small lamp between the beds, which is not good if one person wants to read. There were no available/accessible electrical outlets or USB charging ports. We got lost trying to leave in the dark at 4.00 a.m. - no markings to show you the egress!
