The stay was good. The Caucasian male who checked us in upon our arrival on Friday, May 3rd at around 1130pm; was very very nice. I do not remember his name. Other staff was not as nice or didn't put forth the effort to make us feel as comfortable as he did. The ice machine ice tasted odd. Other than that, the stay was good. Thank you.

The location was terrible. There was like one fast food restaurant near by. The other facility was closed. The contenental breakfast was nothing to brag about.

Positives:
Upon arrival the location and hotel appeared nice and quiet. This location didn’t offer breakfast.
Negatives:
The cleanliness of the rooms were HORRIBLE . The first room was nasty. I was given a second room due to a broken toilet. The second room was no better. The bed linen was dirty with small hairs and crumbs. I complained to the manager and was told booking.com would refund me . Booking.com gave me the run around and then declined to refund me.

I liked being about to park right in front of our room.

Bad air leak in the door, so it was cold. Not just a little, a lot.
Turned on the heater and it smelled horrible. I could expect a bad smell when it's first turned on, after being off all summer. But not this.

Front desk staff was very accommodating and responsive - excellent customer service skills! The elevated sink is an excellent improvement over other hotel bathrooms!

Although it looks like the rooms were recently upgraded/improved, there were several maintenance issues that appear to be overlooked:
> The in-wall HVAC unit was defective. It was unplugged when I arrived, presumably by housekeeping because it could not be turned on or off from the controls. Instead of changing rooms, I decided to just leave it alone.
> The diverter for the shower (located on the tub water spout) is defective. It can not be fully activated, leading to very low shower water pressure, and a lot of water pouring out of the spout into the tub when the diverter was activated for the shower.
> There were no pamphlets or booklets regarding connecting to Wi-Fi, using the multiple TV remotes, etc. Those would have been appreciated.

At first the front desk lady wasnt that friendly she must of had a busy day but I was early to check in so had to come back and when i vame back was like 15min early and she made me wait till 3 to check me in and therre was nobody there but other staff.

Location is great and staff was overall friendly and rooms was clean sorry I wrote what I didn't like in the box that says what I did like so this is what I did like about my stay at redroof inn

Was not even able to check into room until 9:30pm due to no clean rooms. When we did check in, the room hadn’t been cleaned properly, things were still there that had been left from previous guests. The beds were very uncomfortable, and upon waking up and looking to take a hot shower, I found out there was no hot water. Not even Luke warm, the water was ice cold.
