Hilton Garden Inn Exton/West Chester Pa

Negatives: the front desk representative in the morning after 7am was not receptive she was not friendly nor helpful at all as for what she told me that he is security threatening me to throw us out for having my dog at lobby.

Negatives: Wish it had a lap pool...but I made it work in the little pool...if there was a bigger pool ...I just didn't see it...but I still enjoyed my stay

Negatives: The cleaners came twice and opened our door before our checking out time .I would like to believe there is a system which says which rooms needs a daily clean and those that require a full clean on checking out of the residing residence there is no need to come and open room doors if its not before 12pm checking out time unless someone has checked out early than 12pm which they should be notified if there is a system that works properly, but generally all was good

Negatives: Front desk staff was not very friendly. We had a 2 night stay and were not notified that the room would not be cleaned. We were out of the hotel for most of the day, when we returned later in the afternoon we noticed that our room was not cleaned. We informed the front desk and were told it would be cleaned. We returned 2 hours later and it still was not cleaned. Finally, a different person at the front desk informed us that ever since covid, the hotel does not routinely clean the rooms and provide new towels. We were not informed of this at check in. This was very frustrating. Finally they sent us clean towels.

Negatives: maybe it's too much to ask for a Hilton Garden Inn, but there was no one doing the kind of things that the bell captains of old used to do-- knowing the area, restaurant recommendations, etc. Post-covid, 3-star hotels are now all charging 4-star or 5-star rates, but not upping their service level accordingly.

Negatives: Appear to have been overcharged. No final bill received, requested in person and then subsequently through multiple booking.com chat messages with zero response. Booking.com should make things easier, I do not want to make international phone calls to fix things. If you are on booking.com you should respond to booking.com messages. Update: Eventually sorted after a few weeks.

Negatives: for breakfast there was supposed to be a hot option but I guess the cook didn’t feel like showing up. we were offered bagels danish fruit and yogurt for an outstanding price of $30 for 2adults and 2 kids. For real??? That was a key factor as to why I chose the facility was that we could get the kids a good breakfast before we started our day. the staff at breakfast was at a minimum rude. The milk was sour to the point my 5 year old son said dad this doesn’t taste like milk. very disappointed being that I spent almost $400 for a 1 night stay and a bagel breakfast!!!! i also called for extra towels so the 4 of us each had a clean towel. waited an hour and still housekeeping did not show and we needed to get ready and be on the road. I will never stay there again.
