Positives:
The location was great. The lobby areas were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The rooms are in need of major renovations. There was a sense of neglect to the rooms. They were clean but dated. The bathroom downspout in the tub was coming out of the wall. The shower worked ok but it was obvious the tub needed repairs.

The room was very worn, and tired looking. Rug was tearing up at the seams, lampshades had holes and were browned from age. Furniture was heavily scratched and chipped, bathtub has multiple blemishes showing thru the white porcelain.
Not nice and would not recommend to anyone. Terrible value for $$$ paid

Shower wad good, bed and pillows comfortable
Negatives:
No atmosphere, entryway bare, old furniture, room furniture old, used, cabinet missing a drawer, no vent in bathroom, no window in bedroom. Room carpeting was torn. Nothing on the walls (no artwork). Suite and hotel depressing. Not worth the money.
Asked 3 times for extra towels and never received them.

Good location. In the historic district. Easy to walk to shoppes and restaurants.
Negatives:
Bugs all over microwave and counter. Bugs in shower. Telephone to front desk did not work. No pictures or window. Was transferred to a room with a double bed instead of king size that I booked.

The matress needs to be replaced. The pillows were terrible.

Air conditioning in room was stuck on freezing cold. Maintenance couldn’t fix it. Front desk gave us a different room (next to the original room). Same problem. Front desk gave up and offered to give us extra blankets or refund our money. We had to find other arrangements after messing around for a couple hours with that nonsense.
Separately, the hotel is in need of updating. Very worn out, dark and dingy. Definitely not what I expect from Embassy Suites.
